English Picture Description
Follow the plan, NASA’s spacecraft named OSIRIS-REx is ready for touchdown on asteroid Bennu on August 11, 2020, this is the second practice for this mission. In the first practice, the spacecraft practiced the first two maneuvers of the descent. In the second practice, the spacecraft will practice the first two maneuvers and the third maneuver, then, the spacecraft will fly Bennu closely: the minimum distance is about 40 meters.
The above picture is an artist picture which shows OSIRIS-REx descending towards Bennu in order to collect a sample.
